Insurance Operations Senior Analyst

Help manage bp’s insurance programmes and support business teams in making sure insurance requirements and internal policies are followed.Work with business teams across bp to align insurance solutions with their operational and risk management needs.Coordinate the purchase and renewal of insurance policiesSupport the US workers compensation programme including claims management and TPA (third party administrators) oversight.Work with external service providers such as insurance brokers and insurers to support the delivery of insurance services.Provide ongoing support of insurance programmes for various business activities such as tenders, new projects, contract reviews, and claims, helping teams identify and address insurance-related requirements. BSc or BA Degree or equivalent.Insurance experience or some experience of the following : Negotiating skills for example in contract dispute or price negotiations.Procurement and tendering for example in the sourcing, tendering and selection of key suppliersPartners manaleadership skills example managing a key internal or external relationshipFinancial skills for example including analysing and interpreting data sets and proficiency in excel, Power BI and/or other finance toolsEffective verbal communication, written and presentation skills with internal participants, partners and suppliersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to prioritise and multi-taskStrong risk and HSE biasWillingness to learn and utilise digital, AI and automation tools.
