RTR Accountant

Perform accounting processes in scope for the respective country and/or region like month end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting etc.Regular engagement with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processesFocus on building deep business knowledge for the countries in scope to facilitate judgemental decisionsManage updates and maintenance of the period end and year end closing schedules for the countries in scopeManages cash flow, working capital requirements and bank relationshipsPerform review and reconciliation of the balance sheet and bank accounts on a periodic basis producing appropriate working papers and other supporting documentationProvide regular updates to the Senior accountant on process completion and any escalationsDeliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance managementSupport the continuous improvement agenda by providing documented suggestions on how quality and efficiency might be improved Qualification in accounting2-3 years of working experienceStrong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAPs in scopeFluent in EnglishAbility to learn and use new financial tools and reporting systemsAbility to communicate to finance and non-finance stakeholders Experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industryExperience of using Oracle Cloud Opportunity to be at the start of a new HUB in EuropeYour work could have impact to DHL Supply Chain Finance worldwideThe opportunity to learn something new, but also to come up with new ideasStability, career growth and a whole range of certified trainingsFriendly team and pleasant working environmentExtra benefits (discounted fee to Life1 network, fruit days)Cafeteria HUF 500.000/yearMedicare health insurance Location: Budapest, IX. district, hybrid
