Global Portal & SD Master Data Expert (m/f/d)*

Act as Central Master Data Steward for SAP Sales & Distribution master data and execute defined maintenance activitiesConduct regular data quality checks based on defined KPIs and resolve identified issuesAct as the Central Point of Contact for customer portals including: Evaluation and coordination of new customer portal requestsCreation and maintenance of user accessHandling user inquiries and resolving operational issuesPerform the central upload of electronic invoices into customer portals, ensuring timely and compliant processingMonitor EDI invoice connections, identify transmission errors or failures, and ensure issue resolutionSupport the OCR (optical characteristic recognition)-based order entry process through validation of new customer purchase order layoutsIdentify recurring operational issues and pain points and contribute to improvementsWork in an international team with local & global stakeholders Bachelor degreeMin. 3 years of practical experience in Order-to-Cash, SCM operations, or master data managementSolid hands-on experience with SAP Sales & DistributionStrong focus on data accuracy, detail orientation, and structured way of workingAbility to work independently and reliably in an operational environmentStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve data and process issuesFluent in English, German is a plusExperience with or strong interest in digital tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions is a plus with a good knowledge of M365 toolsWillingness to travel (approx. 3-4 times per year) At SCHOTT, it’s your personality that counts – not your gender, your identity, or origin.
