GBU Controlling Operations – Head of Service Delivery International (Budapest)

1. Service Delivery & Operational ExcellenceAccountable for efficient, high-quality, and compliant delivery of Controlling Operations services for International Markets, covering budgeting, forecasting, closing, reporting, and financial planning & analysis activitiesCreate a culture of cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork across ContOps and FBP teams, ensuring smooth interface and communication with relevant business stakeholdersEnsure compliance with Internal Control/SOX standards and implement efficient collaboration with Transversal teams and Controlling Enablement2. Transformation, Convergence & Process ImprovementManage global transformation projects aligned to the Global core model (TM1, ERP, Rolling Forecasts, Insights Factory), collaborating with Global Process Owners and LeadersLead convergence and harmonization of processes across 7 International MCOs (covering EMEA, LATAM, Brazil, South East Asia & India, Australia/NZ/South Korea) operating across 3 time zonesContinuously challenge legacy ways of working and identify gaps, recommending new approaches to drive efficiency and value creation3. People & Team ManagementDirectly manage 3 Service Delivery Heads and a team of 28 professionals across Africa, Central & South Europe, and Eurasia, fostering a culture of performance and best-in-class serviceDrive career development paths and support talent development for Hub team members while managing planning and priorities across teamsInfluence transversally across geographies and time zones, demonstrating strong facilitation and people leadership skills4. Governance & Stakeholder ManagementLead and animate governance meetings (BOOM/PCT) across the International perimeter, ensuring structured, outcome-driven sessions with clear action trackingBuild strategic partnerships with Finance Business Partners, Budget Owners, and 200+ stakeholders across 32 countries to drive results and ensure customer satisfactionDrive feedback collection processes and synthesize inputs from worldwide stakeholders into actionable recommendations, managing project status and risks communication Experience: Proven track record in service delivery leadership within a finance controlling environmentExperience in leading large international teams (30+ members)Experience in driving process harmonization across multiple geographies Soft and technical skills: Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skillsHigh influencing capacityAbility to build credibility across multi-level stakeholdersAdvanced knowledge of Risk & Internal Controls/SOX standardsTechnology-savvy with familiarity with finance platforms (TM1, SAP)Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred. Languages: Fluent English essential; additional languages are a strong advantage given the international scope of the role.
