Senior BI Consultant

Lead the design and development of Power BI reporting and analytics solutions for enterprise clients, Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements, Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, Coordinate and mentor a small team of BI developers and analysts, Review solution designs, data models and reports to ensure high-quality delivery, Act as a trusted advisor to clients on reporting, analytics and data visualization best practices, Drive continuous improvement of BI delivery methodologies and standards, Support pre-sales activities, proposals and solution demonstrations when needed, Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions, Solve complex business challenges through data-driven insights and modern reporting technologies. University or college degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field, At least 4-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or Data & Reporting projects, Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query and dashboard design, Proven experience leading small teams and coordinating BI development activities, Strong understanding of reporting, analytics and data warehousing concepts, Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, Ability to review and challenge technical solutions, ensuring quality and alignment with business needs, Experience in managing client-facing discussions, workshops and stakeholder meetings, Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, Ability to work independently, take ownership and drive initiatives from requirement gathering through delivery, Fluent English (both written and spoken); Hungarian is required for this position. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform or modern cloud-based data solutions. Knowledge of SQL, Python and data engineering concepts. Experience in Agile project delivery environments. Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data governance principles.
